Despite all of that I have truly loved being pregnant! There have been moments like, vomiting for five and a half months or a trip to the ER for intense rib pain, that have not been fun but it's all worth it when the baby moves or kicks me. It's awesome to feel the baby move when Tom and I are talking to each other or to the massive belly.
Working prn has also been an adjustment. Being at home most of the time has been a rather difficult on me. I have to fight loneliness and expecting Tom to fulfill my social expectations everyday. I am getting more and more comfortable with this role. I do feel more relaxed and organized then I have ever been!
I feel truly blessed with loving family and friends that are so wonderful and precious to me. My family in Canada threw a surprise baby shower for me when I was there. My dear friend, Danielle, hosted a baby shower for me in Anderson and my family in Richmond is hosting one for us at Thanksgiving.
I am looking forward to the holidays and honestly can't wait for our child to arrive in January.
Below are some photos of a recent zoo trip with mom, Leslie (sis in law) and my nephews.
