That's right folks meet a brand new Smith! Turns out I'm twelve weeks not eleven like I thought which makes my due date January 29th (sound familiar Kelley?) I was shocked to see little Smithie moving around like a circus performer on the ultrasound...hmmm maybe the slushie helped. The doctor said I looked great and I thanked him and let him down as gently as I could telling him I was married. He also told me that this nausea and vomiting thing may go on another month! What?! I thought once you finished the first trimester you were done with all that.
The baby looks like he/she has no arms but the tech assured me that there were in fact two legs with feet and two arms with hands.
I feel much better after seeing the little one. I had convinced myself that I have wanted a child for so long that my mind was so strong I had created enough hormones to make it seem like I was pregnant. I know that is slightly off but so am I.

Precious little baby. Isn't it the most beautiful thing in the whole world...knowing you have a little life growing inside of you? God is amazing.
You can check out my crazy blog. My brother says I blog as often as cicadas swarm..what is that..once every 17 years?
It stinks that I had to first see my little baby from a hotel room in Pittsburg :(
Love you honey!

Hey there you two or should I say you three!!!! I'm so excited for you and Tom. Kelly just gave us our first granddaughter and we can't say enough about her. Yes, life is good and yours is going to get even better. Enjoy that pregnancy as it goes by quicker than you think. Wish we were there to give you guys a great big hug and kiss. Congratulations and good luck with everything coming your way.
Love you guys,
Marcia Inge (mom to Kevin & Kelly)
