Even though this is my second Mother's Day I feel like it's my first. Lydia is expressive and interactive which makes it a joy to be her mother. I appreciate all other mothers and often offer grace rather then judgment when I see an unruly child.
It's an incredible journey with many moments hidden from the world. I have to remind myself of the good times when Lydia is whiny or unbelievably difficult but there isn't a night that I don't thank God for the blessings He has given to me. An involved husband who is an amazing daddy and a little girl who brings unfathomable joy...what else can a mother want?
