Loving You

Happy Valentines Day! I have never really gotten into the mushy love fest that occurs this time of year. The cynic inside me mutters that it is a profit driven holiday made up by the greeting card and flower companies. Nonetheless, I want to try to express my love for my husband.

Dearest Tom,

I fall more in love with you every day we are together. You are the bread to my butter and the ying to my yang. After ten years of marriage it is starting to feel cozy and priceless. I love our story. At times our life together was difficult and extremely frustrating and confusing but I am eternally grateful we stuck together.

You are a good man. I am starting to realize there aren't too many like you around. Your character is a turn on and your humor is what sparked my interest and has kept it. I thank you for your maturity and insight, without your counsel I would not be the lady I am today.

You are an amazing father! I am seeing a side of you that only our sweet child could of brought out in you. She lights up when she sees you and you are unashamed to show your love for her. Your adoration for Lydia melts my heart.

These words are not meant to sound trite, this is how I truly feel about you. I am honored and pleased that you are my man.
