Pics and an update

The road trip was fun but I am so glad I am home. We were gone for a month! I missed my man terribly! I am still recovering from all the travel, I have felt kind of funny when I transfer from laying to sitting or sitting to standing. I also can't stand too long before my head starts to pound. I am going to the doctor Monday for my monthly check-up so all this will be discussed. I must say this pregnancy thing is not all sunshine and roses....can anyone say only child??

Tom and I registered at Babies-R-Us today. I was so overwhelmed. Tom enjoyed scanning all the items including my belly, his arm, and a salesperson's computer...at least he did not scan a salesperson's bottom like during our wedding registry. I think both Tom and I are in for a shock, Tom doesn't see the need for a lot of clothes or bedding and I have no idea how many of each item I need. I need help....what do I really need?

Onto other not so fun news. Rue is having open heart surgery on Tuesday, she has six blockages and is awaiting the surgery in the hospital. She is in good spirits and the docs are saying she is a great candidate for the procedure. It was a bit stressful earlier this week, there were other factors they had to rule out and she was having chest pains which is why they admitted her. She will have carotid surgery in a few months since one artery has a blockage.

Tom and I will be in Richmond Monday night and stay until the weekend. Tom's boss is letting him work from "home" for the week, which will be nice for Tom to do something instead of stare at the walls. For those of you who live in Richmond, we would love to see everyone but in this situation it's impossible to schedule anything. We would appreciate your prayers for a safe surgery and quick recovery.

It's been more than a week since I read an update. I'll have to admit that I kinda missed the frequent pictures and chronicles of your life. I really liked the pics, everything looks so simple and peaceful in Canada and you are definitely all baby in your most recent pic. I'm so glad you had a great time!

I love that little tummy. I am pretty excited to be able to see you next week, though I am sorry for the circumstances. As you know, I will be praying for Rue, you and Tom...and of course that sweet little baby. I love you!

We are thinking of you, let me know if Brad and I can do anything being here in Richmond. If tom needs some internet access, he's welcome to our wi-fi. No pressure, if you guys get some time, we'll be here and on call for a potential visit. In the meantime, we are thinking of you guys and Rue!
