Hungry, Hungry Preg-O

I am hungry! I started consuming food like every two hours this weekend. I still don't think I have had any cravings, I just need to eat!
(I will be 18 weeks on Thursday)

We went to Charleston on Saturday for the first time. It's a pretty town, Tom and I walked about six miles up and down the streets checking out the open air market and art galleries. My feet still hurt, flip-flops are not the footwear for walking all day.

I can no longer wear any of my pants. I have been everywhere here in town and I am appalled at the lack of maternity clothes. Shirts are not a problem, most of the fashion today can be maternity. Wal-Mart and Kmart have wonderful tees that say "Does this belly make me look fat?" or Tweety Bird and Elmer Fud saying something profound about childbearing. Classy.
I found one pair of khakis at Kmart. That's it! Belks, Goody's, T.J.Maxx, and Sears do not have maternity sections!!! JC Penny's had pants but they were either too long or gave me an amazing camel toe. I am so frustrated. I am convinced this town hates preg-o's. I am going to mom's this weekend and plan on shopping all day. I do need advice about pants... what style is best... no panel/small band/over the belly panel. Any suggestions?

Finally, I worked today at a nursing home, I must say, not working on a regular basis has shown me that I do really like my profession. In health care it's so easy to get burned out. The hours, expectations, and demands of the patients can wear on you over time. When I worked full time with the geriatric/adult population I burned out quickly but I had a great time today! It was nice to have face to face conversations. I really enjoyed working today.

Pants... I would say no band or full panel. All the ones I had with small bands would roll or twist and annoy me to death. It's all or nothing. Good luck finding stuff you like! I had some luck at Old Navy, Target, and the Motherhood stores. Babystyle.com is always a good bet for cute stuff. Amazingly expensive cute stuff.
I am so glad I get to check in on you guys! I'm so excited for you!

Kelly used a belly band or something like that. You can wear your own pants (zippered) and put the belly band over that and it keeps your pants up and while they are unzipped. You can email Kelly to find out where she got hers. She loved it and wore it most of the pregnancy.

I'm so excited for you guys and look forward to more pix of you preggo!!!! Hugs to you and Tom!!!

Love & Miss you guys,
